Daejeon Jung-gu Book Festival

About the festival

The 2026 Jung-gu Book Festival opens its second chapter, building on the diverse reading culture discovered at the 2025 festival and connecting those communities to expand relationships in the city. Chapter Two, “Connecting Each Other”, reads Jung-gu, where stories have built up over time, like a book, following the time in its alleys, memories of the old downtown, people’s lives and local feelings to discover and connect the stories already there. Through books it links people with people, places with memories and the city with reading culture.
