About the festival
As cool winds follow golden fields, the Yeonsan Jujube Cultural Festival is held in Yeonsan, where the spirit of General Gyebaek lives on, with sun-ripened jujubes and warm hospitality. Yeonsan jujubes became famous as merchants bought and sold jujubes grown in Yeonsan-myeon and nearby Beolgok, Yangchon and Unju. Their efforts to sell especially good jujubes to customers who came in person built a reputation for quality, and Yeonsan now handles more than 40% of Korea’s jujubes as the largest market. During the festival you can buy jujubes at low prices and enjoy many events.
