About the festival

The 2nd Gangneung Bread Festival is a hands-on food festival where you enjoy Gangneung’s distinctive breads in the serene setting of Ojuk Hanok Village. Held for three days from October 9 to 11, 2026, it brings together breads from local bakeries in one place. Besides bread exhibitions and sales, there are activities, performances and events for all ages, and plenty of spots to stroll the hanok village, taste bread and take photos with family and friends. Under the theme “A loop around the hanok village following the smell of bread”, it showcases Gangneung’s baking culture.
