About the festival
The Book Festival is the Cheonan public libraries’ signature book festival combining reading, activities and play, held with libraries, clubs, bookstores and publishers. It features author talks, performances, activity booths and an outdoor library for all citizens. Held at the sunken plaza of Cheonan Samgeori Park, it includes an opening ceremony, an award for avid readers, a family musical and an ensemble concert. Relax and read under the autumn sun at the outdoor library, meet Han So-gon, author of Cheonan’s 2026 Book of the Year “Gochujang Errand”, and Lee Seo-su, and explore 16 activity booths and 13 bookstore and publisher booths. Admission is free.
