About the festival
The 14th Yeonsu Neungheodae Cultural Festival carries on the spirit of challenge and enterprise of the ancient Baekje envoys who set sail from Neungheodae and shares it with Yeonsu residents today. Alongside the signature Baekje Envoy Parade, there are resident programs, a Residents’ Day awards ceremony, celebrity concerts, fireworks and activity booths. This year features the largest-ever drone light show with about 2,000 drones under the theme “Neungheodae, Voyage of Light”, reinterpreting the history of maritime exchange through Neungheodae and a global voyage with cutting-edge media technology.
