About the festival
The 22nd Hoengseong Hanwoo Beef Festival is a leading stay-and-enjoy festival held for five days from October 7 to 11, 2026 on the Seomgang Riverside in Hoengseong, Gangwon State. Under the slogan “Delicious, Stay, Shine” and the theme “Autumn to Linger, Hoengseong, the Shining City of Taste”, it promotes the quality of Hoengseong Hanwoo beef and the local economy. Organized by the Hoengseong Culture and Tourism Foundation, it offers 14 programs across food, arts and activities, with daytime (10:00 to 18:00) and evening (18:00 to 21:00) programs, run together with local merchants, farmers and residents.
